Audience

With this exhibition, the Musée du Fjord wants to raise awareness among youth and the general public about these unusual ecosystems, with a rich biodiversity still unsuspected.

Content

The “Abyss” exhibition features a unique design. The arrangements and atmosphere are made to reflect a singular environment where darkness reigns. The clean lines and quality of materials illustrate the technology used to explore the ocean depths.

The exhibition presents the biodiversity of the deep through exceptional photography, outstanding video images and genuine specimens preserved in alcohol. Visitors discover the particularities of the deep through straightforward and efficient interactive displays.

The « Abyss » exhibition showcases the technologies developed to explore the bottom of the oceans. One can see a deep-sea diving suit, a remote controlled prototype submarine, along with replicas of historical devices: diving chamber, bathysphere, etc.

Germs! Germs! Germs! Germs! Germs! Germs!

And yet, other than bird flu and Clostridium difficile, what do you know about them? Germs! Germs! Germs! will take you on a fascinating journey into the world of micro-organisms, where the fight for survival is as ferocious as it can be in the visible world. What a great opportunity to delve into the mysteries of microbes and the roles they play in our everyday lives?
