Erected by a group of citizens as a memorial to the 1996 floods, the Pyramide des Ha! Ha! is today a first-rate tourist attraction. Made up of 3,000 “Yield” signs (the French play on words cédez (yield) for s’aider, meaning to help each other) mounted on an aluminium structure, it yields a great view of the bay from its 21-metre observation point. The pyramid is also used as a stage for shows and concerts, and educational activities. The Musée du Fjord manages the guided tours and interpretative activities on the site.
Open in summer only.
