Canadian Signature Experiences Member

Musée du Fjord is proud to have been selected member of Destination Canada’s prestigious Canadian Signature Experiences (CSE) program, which aims to promote Canada as an international destination of choice. Members are selected for the quality and originality of their tourism experiences.

CSE is a marketing program that evaluates its members based on the alignment of their offers with Destination Canada’s international marketing, media relations and sales activities. Signature experiences are perfect examples of the types of tourist experiences travellers are seeking– authentic, captivating, and compelling.

Musée du Fjord, a popular destination!

The jury was won over by the Museum’s extensive repositioning project, an exhaustive realignment of its cultural and tourism offer. Hence, our institution now meets the stringent criteria that demonstrate Canada’s potential as a singular destination on the world stage. The project focuses on the unparalleled natural environment of the Saguenay Fjord, its amazing diversity and complexity. The selection committee had no doubts as to the experience featured here, the type of experience that exhibits Canada’s true colours across the globe.
