Where does intelligence begin? Is it reserved for humans? Are bacteria, earthworms, plants, and fungi intelligent? Today, thanks to scientific research, we know that there is not just ONE form of intelligence, but MANY. Intelligence is found in many places: bacteria, plants, animals, not to mention artificial intelligence. It is now accepted that intelligence is not exclusive to humans... With interactive games, experiments, photos, 3D prints, interviews, and films, the amusing exhibition Brilliant! We're all intelligent! offers many surprises and discoveries about different species. It just might reveal to us how much we still have to learn!  

This exhibition was created by the Musée du Fjord, the Nantes Natural History Museum, the Espace des Sciences in Rennes, and Science by Art. Sponsored by Étienne Klein, physicist and philosopher of science at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), and Laurie Rousseau-Nepton, astrophysicist at the Canada-France-Hawaii Observatory, it has been recognized as being of national interest by the French Ministry of Culture.
