Honorary member of the l’Ordre des Vingt-et-Un as part of the fête du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. This distinction is given for outstanding merit and service to the public. We’d like to thank the Société Historique du Saguenay for recognition of our commitment to the region.

Winner of the La Baie’s Event of the Year award during its Mad About Science Festival.

Winner of the Bell Marketing Honourable Mention at the Saguenay Economic Merit Gala.

Winner of the Award for Excellence, presented by the Société des Musées Québécois (SMQ).

Honorable mention for the Award for Exhibition Excellence, presented by the Canadian Museums Association.

November 2012

Winner of the New Product or Original Activity Award, presented by the Société des Attractions Tourisme du Québec. Attendees select a winner who is then granted the Quebecor Media Bursary, valued at $43,500.

2006 Coup d’Éclat Award

“New or Original Activity – Tourist Attraction and Corporation” category for carrying out a public necropsy of a Greenland shark.

2005 Alphonse-Huard Award

Regional scientific merit, contribution to promoting science and technology.

2005 Rosaire-Corbin Award

Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, contribution to boosting the cultural and natural heritage of the Saguenay Fjord.
